Nutreco is one of the largest companies worldwide in the field of farm animal feed. The company realises that digital propositions continue become more important in the future to keep their market share. Although the digital products they create have a great value proposition and features, it is not used as much as predicted. For this reason, I was asked to introduce the ‘User Exprience (UX)’ mindset into the business.
Much of this was about optimizing the newly introduced agile workflow. Awareness needed to be created amongst stakeholders. Work like this included working on NutriOpt (their digital product). To make this work, the design thinking method was introduced, and I created a design system to show the added value of digital design next to a more static brand guideline.
As Nutreco didn't have a full understanding of their user types, I created the ideal workflow their customers have through user research. The understanding of the users included creating multiple persona's for the company to work with.
